Engineered skid systems provide a compact configuration chemical feed at water and wastewater treatment plants. While these all-in-one metering pump solutions bring tremendous value to their users, traditional platforms have their pitfalls.

Engineers and plant operators have been wary of using aluminum frames, even ones that are powder-coated, for fear of rust. Those frames also tend to be heavy, which presents shipping and installation challenges. By comparison, a new generation of plastic skids is highly resistant to chemicals, easy to ship and install, and come with metering pumps already mounted.
