Acuva Technologies recently announced that its Strike Platform recently became the first and only UV-LED drinking water disinfection module platform in the world certified by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) to comply with a pair of key standards: NSF/ANSI 55 Ultraviolet Microbiological Water Treatment Systems for Material Safety and Structural Integrity, and NSF/ANSI 372 Drinking Water System Components – Lead Content Compliance. Using its patented IntenseBeam technology, Acuva is able to create a controlled optical environment that maximizes UV-LED disinfection efficiency to optimize performance.
