Collaboration and research agreement between Danieli and Nalco Water
Nalco Water, a US company of Ecolab, and Danieli have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to pool their research and development capabilities to improve industrial water treatment in the metals industry.
By combining Nalco Water's expertise in chemicals and services with Danieli's technology experience, this collaboration will help steel and metal companies improve their production processes and reduce their carbon and water footprint.
This development initiative will leverage digital technology to help improve plant performance and reliability, enable water management solutions to reduce water consumption, and lower capital and operating costs. It will contribute to reduced greenhouse gas emissions, better scaling control, and lower maintenance costs. This cooperation will also help extend plant life and support more efficient commissioning of facilities.
By joining forces, Nalco Water and de Danieli will bring continued value to the metals industry, focused on reducing maintenance costs, improving scaling control, extending equipment life and more.
