- 1986 : Development of design for PVC deepdrawn foils together with skilled cooling tower manufacturer.

- 1987 : Study and development of alternatives for environmentally unfriendly PVC fills.

- 1988 : Development of welding technology for PP towerfills.

: January, first delivery of commercial quantity polypropylene, welded cooling tower fills.

: Extrusion of PVDF and PFA tubes for heat exchanger modules for desulphurisation plants. Study and development of production methods for on line production of PP or PVC fills. Filling of first natural draught cooling towers with PP fills.

: First formed foils, extruded on own developed and patented extrusion Line, built by 2H Kunststoff GmbH. Production of 12/19 mm fills in PP and PVC for applications in serial modular cooling towers and natural draught cooling tower.

: The market is recognising benefits of PP fills such as high temperature (80 °C) and chemical resistance, first replacements of random media in scrubbers, stippers and biotowers by 2H standard PP-fills.

: PP tower fill sales subject to boom in Europe. A second generation of foil extrusion and welding are seeing the light, 300 mm wide packing will become 600 mm wide. August: decision to build new factory in Wettringen Autumn: Construction new plant.

: April: new plant on stream Dieselweg 5, Wettringen. Start of production foils and fills of second generation. 2H Kunststoff GmbH is offering their production know how worldwide. First project realised at site in Perugia/Italia.

: A 27 mm fill with new 2H design was launched together with 12 and 19 mm V form design for better cooling capacities.

A welding machine in installed in Thailand together with a good customer and substantial orders are realised there, fi. the Rayong Project.

: With energy suppliers a new heatexchanging system was developed in the form of protective PP welded fills (2H-PWT 306) for rotating heat exchanging wheels, so called REA GAVO system. The beginning to study benefits of PP and PVC structured media for sewage water purification as oxidation bed or for biorotors.

:Firstbig order for trickling filters in UK and Hong Kong.Start up new 2H Kunststoff division, sewage water cleaning.

: March 24, acknowledgement 2H, with ISO 9001 Certificate.
