Next Gen Capital Controls® Chlorinators
3/7/2018
The unique compact design incorporates the best existing Capital Controls® technology with exciting new features. With just three models ranging from 10-10,000 lbs/day capacity, each chlorinator is available with automatic or manual feed and a 10” flowmeter for an easier read. Sonic operation on the 4100 model eliminates the need for a differential pressure regulator. On all automatic models, an additional controller isn’t needed, reducing components – and costs.

FiltraFast™ Extreme-Rate Compressible Media Filter
9/15/2017
FiltraFast™ is a high-rate downflow gravity or pressure filter that uses a unique compressible media. The filter only uses hydraulic loading to create the required media porosity without any mechanical compressing devices. A proprietary backwash sequence enables maximum recovery, extends media life, and limits energy consumption. This process 1) significantly reduces the footprint compared to sand filters, and 2) reduces maintenance and replacement costs required by disc filters, and other compressible media filters.

Mapping And Identifying The Source Of Water Quality Issues
6/28/2017
A Southern U.S. municipality experiencing taste and odor issues in a certain neighborhood was also having difficulty maintaining chlorine residual levels in the area. Biological growth was suspected, however, water leaving the treatment plant met and exceeded all water quality requirements. After several investigations, the source of contamination in the distribution system could still not be identified.

Pipeline Flash Reactors for Mixing & Contacting
5/19/2017
Pipeline Flash Reactors (PFRs or spool pieces) utilize high velocity mixing to transfer ozone or oxygen-enriched sidestreams into bulk water flow, all within a compact footprint. With a PFR, ozone or oxygen mass transfer occurs in the pipeline within seconds, eliminating the need for additional tanks or basins.
