ClearBlu Environmental focuses on complete aerobic digestion of organic waste. This process is desirable over anaerobic digestion because it is fast, odor free, and prevents the need for any solids removal procedures. Aerobic digestion is desirable over DAF systems because it eliminates the need for costly chemical use and disposal. ClearBlu uses a unique aeration technology known as microbubble aeration, to achieve an aquatic environment which supports a bacteria population capable of complete digestion. This is the key difference over conventional technologies.

VariOx™ Jet Aeration

The VariOx™ jet aeration system is an aeration and mixing device used in numerous water and wastewater treatment applications. Jet aeration combines many of the benefits and efficiencies of both mechanical and diffused air type systems. The jet aerator consists of an inner liquid nozzle and an outer air nozzle. Liquid from the basin is re-circulated through a jet motive pump and discharged through the inner liquid nozzle at a high velocity. Concurrently, air is fed into the outer air nozzle where it is mixed with the motive liquid and discharged as a high energy jet plume.

UniSystem® Package Wastewater Treatment Plant

The standard UniSystem package plant is a rectangular tank consisting of an aeration chamber, hopper bottom clarifier, sludge holding tank, and chlorine disinfection chamber. Aeration Industries can supply painted carbon steel tankage or all of the internals and ancillary equipment for installation in concrete tanks. Treatment modules can be easily added to the design of the UniSystem depending on influent characteristics and effluent requirements. Treatment module options include a comminutor, flow equalization, denitrification equipment, filters, a membrane bioreactor, UV disinfection, post aeration, and phosphorus removal equipment.

Winery Wastewater Treatment Systems

ClearBlu installs the most effective winery wastewater systems available. We are a design/build contractor. Utilizing biodigester technology, our capital costs for systems are significantly lower than other systems. Why? Because we are not utilizing municipal wastewater system technology to treat winery waste. They represent two different problems.
Winery waste water contains sugars and grape organics. This narrow profile means that it is easier to treat. Typically engineering firms will spend 10’s or 100’s of thousands of dollars designing systems that are overly complex, very costly to install, difficult to operate and expensive to maintain. By focusing on the content of the waste stream, ClearBlu installs systems with much smaller footprints. If ponds are utilized, less than 24% of the acreage engineers require will be needed. We eliminate chemical usage by eliminating DAF and SAF systems.
