Troubled UK Wastewater Company Sees Untreated Sewage Discharge For 44 Straight Days

As a startling volume of untreated sewage spews into British source water, a major European water company has explained that it's actually better than the alternative.

“Untreated sewage has been pumped non-stop into a river for more than 44 days,” the BBC reported. “Thames Water insisted that discharging untreated sewage was the only way to stop sewage flooding people’s homes.”
