Datasheet: Particle Counter

Source: Chemtrac, Inc.

The PC3400 online particle counter sets the newest standard for particle counting instruments used in the water treatment industry today.

  • Fast, user friendly calibration!
  • 2 to 750 micron particle detection in liquid
  • Up to 1 year Datalogging at 10 min log interval
  • Graphical trending of the last 64 logged readings
  • Large display for viewing data from all 8 particle size channels at once
  • Report particle counts as counts/ml, counts/100 ml, or raw counts.
  • Plenty of Analog I/O capability and MODBUS communications for ease of integration.
  • No external computer or software required for setup, data collection, or calibration

STANDARD FEATURES

  • Detection 2-900 microns, Sizing 2-100 microns
  • Up to 8 user programmable size channels
  • Reports total counts, cnts/mL, or cnts/100mL
  • User friendly, menu driven calibration
  • User keypad for complete system setup
  • MODBUS RTU communication
  • Sensor laser & cell condition readout (0-100%)
  • External sensor with sapphire optics
  • Datalogging and trending

OPTIONAL FEATURES

  • TracWare (MB) software - record data
  • Analog 4-20mA I/O and Alarm Relays
  • Multiple communication protocols supported

BENEFITS

  • Provides particle size and quantity information and detects particulate down to low ppt levels
  • User friendly calibration routine makes calibrations fast, simple, and lowers maintenance cost because units don't need to go back to factory for routine calibration
  • User keypad with extensive menu functions eliminates requirement to use external software for setup
  • Large display shows all 8 particle size channels at once, plus other sensor performance info
  • External sensor allows for easy cleaning and water is kept away from electronics
