Brochure: Fine Bubble Membrane Disc Aeration Of Activated Sludge Treatment

Source: Aquarius Technologies Inc.

Fine bubble membrane disc aeration has been significantly improved by the group of Aquarius engineers who bring decades of aeration experience to the market. The primary goal of this product development is to provide improved aeration performance for the MSABPTM but can be applied to conventional activated sludge plants, aerobic digesters, MBR’s and SBR’s.

A number of mechanical, and elastomeric improvements along with quality control enhancements have led to a fine pore membrane with unmatched industry performance.

Independent testing has confirmed the improvements in the proprietary elastomeric membrane material, diffuser uniformity and aeration performance. Performance improvements of 5+% are possible when contrasted with current industry diffuser formulations.

Modern component molding techniques have afforded Aquarius the opportunity to develop a unique holder design and improved retainer ring. Anti-rotation joints provide greater strength and sealing.

Aquarius membrane discs are interchangeable with EDI and ITT 9” membrane discs making performance improvement immediately available.
