The Technical Meeting is a great venue for interested members to volunteer their expertise and join industry-transforming technical committees which create widely respected ANSI/HI Standards, technical guidelines and reports for pumps and pumping systems. Nearly thirty committees will meet to advance the HI’s standards and guideline writing efforts. Some meeting highlights also include:

  • Department of Energy & Government Affairs Update
  • Standards Leadership Workshop
  • Technical Affairs Update
  • Pump Knowledge Workshops:
    • Compression Packing Frictional Characteristics Comparison with Mechanical Seals

The meeting also provides plenty of opportunities to network with top pump industry professionals. On Wednesday, June 3rd, HI will host attendees at “The Joe”, the home stadium of the Charleston RiverDogs baseball team, for a night of networking and a ballgame. HI will also host a private reception at the hotel on Thursday, June 4th.
