LiqTech International, Inc. Receives A USD $130,000 Follow-On Order Using Its Silicon Carbide (SiC) Membranes For The Removal Of Heavy Metals From Power Plant Waste Water

Ballerup, Denmark /PRNewswire/ - LiqTech International, Inc. (NYSE MKT: LIQT) ("LiqTech") is pleased to announce that the Company received a $130,000 SiC membrane order from a European customer to be delivered in the 2nd quarter of 2015.

This is a follow-on order from a customer that first installed a system in the fall of 2014.  The installation is for a German power plant for the removal of heavy metals from a flue gas cleaning process. This new order will be installed at another German power plant.

Mr. Sune Mathiesen, LiqTech CEO, remarked, "We are very pleased to receive an additional order from this customer. The system reduces the environmental impact from coal and biomass fired power plants and was developed by the customer with technical support from LiqTech. This second order is further verification that our membrane technology is an excellent solution for this very difficult problem."

"We have dedicated significant marketing resources, both on-shore and off-shore, developing solutions for the removal of heavy metals using our SiC membrane technology, and we are now seeing the first re-orders. This is very encouraging and we will continue to devote the necessary resources to establish new commercial relationships for these applications.

The removal of heavy metals is one of our chosen focus applications and we believe that it has a significant worldwide market potential. Awareness to this very serious environmental problem is growing with an increasing likelihood of legislation to address this worldwide problem."

"We offer a practical solution to this environmental problem and we look forward to generating significant future orders," Mr. Mathiesen concluded.
