CH2M HILL To Share Innovative Water Solutions At Singapore International Water Week

Showcasing sustainable water and energy technology to address water and urban sustainability challenges

CH2M HILL, a global full-service consulting, design, construction, and operations firm, announces that it will share its technical expertise during the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), as a founding sponsor. Hosted by the Singapore Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, and Singapore’s National Water Agency, PUB, from June 1-5, this exclusive integrated event will focus on water and urban sustainability, drawing participation from more than 19,000 water professionals and elected officials from more than 100 countries.

As part of Singapore’s strategic program to grow the water industry and develop leading water technologies, SIWW will emphasize the significance of sustainable water management and how it relates to developing livable, sustainable cities. This year’s convention is centered on four themes: Municipal Water, Industrial Water, Integrated City-Environment-Water, and Future of Water.

During the SIWW Water Convention, CH2M HILL employees will speak on a variety of topics, including advanced water and wastewater treatment for municipal and industrial projects in the oil and gas and petrochemical industry, green infrastructure and urban wet weather solutions, integrated water resources management, intelligent smart grid water solutions, and climate adaptation. Dr. Glen Daigger, CH2M HILL Senior Vice President and Chief Water Technology Officer and IWA President, will participate in the TechXchange program on June 1, which brings together global technology leaders, utilities, and the investment community to share new and innovative ideas and determine the best approach for introducing new technologies to the market. Dr. Daigger will address innovative solutions for water treatment and reuse by looking at the opportunities for cooperation within and between industries and municipal water and agriculture for water reuse.

Greg McIntyre, CH2M HILL Global Water Market President, was appointed as a member of the International Advisory Panel (IAP) for the Institute of Water Policy (IWP) under the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. He will join government, private sector, and academia leaders from around the world on Tuesday, June 3 for the IAP meeting to discuss cutting-edge water policy research and education within Singapore and beyond.
