The Type 388 butterfly valve can be used universally as a shut-off or control valve in water treatment or water filtration applications. The 388 family of valves can be equipped for manual operation with a hand lever or gear operator, or can be fitted in the field with electric or pneumatic actuation. The Type 388 butterfly valve can be used universally as a shut-off or control valve in water treatment or water filtration applications. - Corrosion resistant
- Maintenance free, long service life
- Dimension range: 2"-24"
- Materials:
- Body: Ductile iron (lug style) or cast iron (wafer style)
- Valve disk: 316 stainless steel
- Stem: 316 stainless steel
- Bearing: PTFE
- EPDM or FPM seals
- Pressure rating: 250 psi
- Temperature to 250°F (300°F with FPM seals)
- ANSI 150 bolt pattern
- Available with pneumatic or electric actuation
- Electric actuator:
- 100% duty cycle 2"-12"
- 120 VAC 50/60 Hz
- Sized for 200 psi line maximum
- Pneumatic actuator:
- Available fail close standard; fail open or double acting are optional
- Specified for use with 80 psi air available
- Specified for 200 psi line pressure maximum
