The AquaGrip System is an innovative compression connection with integral restraint
- Easy to install without special tools or skills.
- Accepts ductile iron, PVC or PE water pipe without disassembly, modification for changing any parts.
- Stab in pipe end and tighten bolts until special nuts snap away, a visual indication the connection is leak tight and fully restrained.
Fire Hydrants:
The AquaGrip connection is available on the Mueller Super Centurion 250TM 3-way fire hydrant (Models A-421 and A-423) with 6" ductile iron shoe.
This product meets or exceeds all applicable requirements Of AWWA C502, UL 246, UL 1285, UL 194, FM 1510, FM Class Number 1620, ASTM F 1674, WIS 4-24-01 and ISO 14236.2. Working pressure is 250psig, test pressure 500psig.

This product meets or exceeds all applicable requirements of AWWA C509, UL 262, UL 1285, UL 194, FM 1120/1130 FM Class Number 1620, ASTM F 1674, WIS 4-24-01 and ISO 14236.2. AWWA working pressure is 250psig, test pressure 500psig (UL/FM working pressure is 200psig, test pressure 400psig).
