The company was first organized in 1963 and entered the analytical instrument business in 1969. OI Corporation (d.b.a. OI Analytical) is a public company with its common stock shares traded on the NASDAQ market under the symbol, OICO. Company headquarters is located in College Station, Texas. Additional company facilities include OI Analytical–Birmingham, Alabama producing GC-based air monitoring systems and OI Analytical – Shanghai, providing sales and service support to our distribution network within China. OI Analytical is an ISO-9001 certified organization that operates under a Total Quality Management (TQM) program to continuously improve the quality of our products, services, and business processes.
The principal markets and industries served by OI Analytical include environmental testing, drinking and wastewater treatment, chemicals and petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, homeland defense, and chemical weapons demilitarization.
