Founded in 1901 by a small group of industrialists as a metal fabricating shop, the Henry Pratt Company entered the valve industry in 1926 with the design / development of the first rubber seated butterfly valve. Since that time, Henry Pratt has become a trusted name in the flow control industry, setting the standard for product quality and customer service.

Research and Development is an integral function of our engineering department. R&D is used in developing new products as well as improving existing products in accordance with the needs of the market place. Our capable engineering staff makes sure that all our valves meet AWWA Standards.
