Brochure: Potable Water

Quality requirements for potable water are becoming increasingly stringent. Not only are the allowable levels for turbidity and microbiology being lowered, but also new limits are being established for viruses and chlorine-resistant organisms, such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia.

Conventional treatment systems are either unable to meet these quality standards or require multiple barriers which result in a large footprint and significantly higher investment.

Norit X-Flow's ultrafiltration (UF) membranes are an excellent filtration technology for the treatment of surface and ground water to potable water standards. The hollow fiber membrane screens all turbidity, bacteria and viruses. It provides a simple solution that produces water which meets the highest standards for turbidity and microbiology.
