It's Time To Replace Promises With Action

Nation’s Leading Design-Build Association Reacts to White House Infrastructure Plan

Recently’s release of the Trump administration’s principles for a long-awaited infrastructure investment package is just the first step in what could be a lengthy debate on how to fund desperately needed infrastructure projects throughout our nation. DBIA Executive Director/CEO, Lisa Washington, says:

“Infrastructure investment is one of the few issues in this politically divisive era which garners wide support across parties, regions, and states yet we can’t pave streets with promises. Now’s the time to deliver a workable infrastructure investment plan for our nation, including the funding to make it happen.

America’s design-build industry is already helping states and localities deliver innovative projects more efficiently, saving precious time and money on vital infrastructure projects nationwide. However, more is needed. Finding the funding is just the first step, we must also find ways to deliver transformative and sustainable projects on time, on budget and with limited resources. That is design-build’s legacy and what our industry will continue to deliver to communities from coast to coast.” …Lisa Washington, DBIA Executive Director/CEO

The Design-Build Institute of America will continue its work with industry partners and Members of Congress to help deliver the infrastructure investment America desperately needs.
