A Q&A with Mark Owen, CEO, Puralytics

Mark Owen founded Puralytics in January 2007 to develop water purification products based on LED-activated nanotechnology, garnering recognition from the Cleantech Open, Global Water Intelligence, Imagine H2O, and the Artemis Project, as well as research grants from the U.S. Army and the National Science Foundation. In addition to being a primary inventor of Puralytics' technology, Owen has more than 30 patents issued or pending, and has published over 40 technical articles.

Water Online spoke to Owen regarding his latest passion, photochemical water purification — how it works, where the technology stands today, and how it's positioned for the future.
