Desalination Represented By Waterra Signs A Research Agreement With The British Company (EVOVE)

The Saline Water Conversion Corporation, through its research arm “Waterra”, signed a research cooperation agreement with the British company (EVOVE), with the aim of developing desalination industry processes. This signing comes within the framework of the Foundation’s efforts to support research and innovation in the water sector and localize promising technologies.

The agreement aims to support innovative initiatives to develop modern technologies that contribute to improving the performance of nano-membranes and reverse osmosis membranes, with the aim of reducing operational costs and achieving economic and environmental benefits in water desalination operations. This step comes within the framework of the corporation's vision to provide advanced and effective solutions to improve operational processes and the sustainability of the desalination industry.

The main objectives of the agreement are to adopt promising technologies with technology developers by enabling partnerships and exchanging experiences and knowledge between the two parties.

It is expected that this agreement will contribute to creating advanced research initiatives and applying modern technologies in the desalination industry, which will contribute to reducing water production costs and energy consumption, and contribute to achieving water security in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
