Chlorine is a wonderful, life-saving chemical. It may be taken somewhat for granted today, but chlorine’s arrival more than a century ago really did herald a revolution, and it’s still going strong. Of course, the use of liquid and gas chlorine also has its drawbacks, including the ongoing repurchase expense and a variety of safety concerns associated with transport and storage.
