Reliant Water Technologies Introduces The Model 2100 Galvanic Dissolved Oxygen Analyzer

Now that the hype over the reduced amount of maintenance required of optical Dissolved Oxygen (DO) sensors has joined the scrap heap of decades of false wastewater promotion, it is time to get back to a reliable and responsible method of aeration basin DO measurement and MLSS control. Reliant Water's Model 2100 Dissolved Oxygen Monitoring and Control System brings the reliability and accuracy of galvanic DO measurement back to the industry. The Reliant Water Model 2100 Analyzer incorporates a multi-line, back lit digital display which continuously displays DO and temperature as well as active relay status. It also incorporates single button automatic calibration, programmable relays, isolated analog and digital outputs, 72 hour trend graph, sensor and analyzer self-diagnostics.
The Reliant Water Model 20 DO sensor is a proven galvanic design with a pure platinum cathode that utilizes a 1 mil to 5 mil laminar foil that acts as the sensing element. The thicker the foil, the tougher it is, and the longer it will last between sensor recalibrations and recharging. Customers all over the world utilize the 5 mil foil for well up to, and over, 3 years without breaking the sensor down for recharging. This armored foil cannot be scratched, ripped, or cut by anything commonly found in a wastewater treatment bio-reactor, including the abrasive environment of Unox reactors and gold mine leaching tanks. The 1 or 2 mil foils are commonly used for monitoring and controlling denitrification processes as low as .2 PPM continuously. If the Reliant Water Model SCM self-cleaning module is used, the Model 20 sensor does not have to be touched for well over 6 months at a time. Enough replacement foils and electrolyte is supplied with the new system for over 5 years of maintenance.
