Pinnacle Ozone Solutions Announces New Zenith-78 Ozone System
February 6, 2012
Cocoa, FL – Pinnacle Ozone has recently released to market the ZENITH-78 ozone system that manufactures 750 lbs. of ozone per day at 10% concentration by weight (or 1500 lbs at 5% conc. by weight). As part of the continual product development cycle of providing cost-effective, low power consumption ozone solutions, the ZENITH-78 more than doubles the ozone output of baseline ZENITH-30 systems by housing 78 QuadBlock® ozone generators in one enclosure. The 78 total QuadBlocks maximizes efficiency and reduces overall purchase cost by 25-30% when compared with two ZENITH-30 systems. This translates into a significant reduction of total cost of ownership for Pinnacle Ozone customers.
Bud Leffler, Chief Technology Officer for Pinnacle Ozone recently stated that "We are very pleased to offer this product to our customers who require additional ozone capacity in a single system. The beauty of this system is that it eliminates duplicated equipment such as PLCs, control components, cabinets, and other components when compared to multiple Zenith systems of the same ozone output." He also added, "This way, we reduce the overall cost of the system, reduce the total footprint and lower the total cost of ownership for the customer." The system builds on the successes of the Peak (120 lbs. O3/day), Summit (200 lbs. O3/day), and Zenith-30 (600 lbs. O3/day) ozone brands.
All ZENITH systems feature modular QuadBlock® ozone generators that are fitted to six independent racks per system for a total of 78 QuadBlocks. ZENITH-78 systems can also be configured to operate with spare QuadBlock(s) redundancy without the requirement of purchasing a separate ozone system. The new system is fully enclosed, silent and water-cooled.
ZENITH System Features:
Low Ozone Operational Costs – ZENITH system operational costs are 15-25% lower per pound of ozone through process driven, linear turndown power adjustment capability of each QuadBlock®. This powerful feature translates into reduced electrical costs by reducing consumption when process demands fluctuate. If only 5% of rated ozone output is required, each QuadBlock reduces power 95% in order to meet the demand. This is in direct comparison to legacy ozone systems that operate with non-linear, inefficient power ranges.
Small Footprint - The ZENITH-78 system footprint is 15-35% smaller in area than traditional tube type generators and can be easily retrofitted in place of older ozone systems. The system arrives ready to connect water, oxygen, ozone, power and network control.
Low Maintenance - The ZENITH-78 system requires no yearly maintenance. Self diagnostics operate in the background while technicians can run diagnostic troubleshooting software remotely. QuadBlock replacement can be accomplished in 20 minutes and there are no glass tubes to be replaced.
Factory Instrumentation & Control - Everything required to operate and configure a ZENITH-78 system can be displayed on the user touch screen or through an Internet/remote network system. Process control options include ORP, Dissolved Ozone Monitoring (DOM), 4-20 mA signals from ozone gas monitors or inputs from existing customer SCADA systems.
Rugged Design - The ZENITH-78 has been designed for indoor, outdoor and mobile in-the-field- applications. Featuring glass-reinforced polyester (GRP) panels, the system is available in NEMA 3 or 4X configurations.
