The OCU-10000 Odor Control Unit is designed for the efficient purification of vapors associated with sewer work such as bypass or line maintenance. The system incorporates a high flow fan controlled by a variable frequency drive to allow a wide range of flow capacities. The fan assembly is enclosed in an acoustical enclosure to maintain low sound levels making the system ideal for applications in residential areas.
The vapors move through a radial flow filter unit filled with specially impregnated filter media designed to remove H2S (hydrogen sulfide), methyl mercaptans and other nuisance odors typically associated with sewer applications. These systems are available with SCAQMD (South Coast Air Quality Management District) Various Locations Permit.
In service nationwide, these filters have the proven ability to remove nuisance odors and organic contaminants to non-detectable levels. These systems are equipped with forklift channels to ease the process of system installation and maintenance during spent media servicing. Once the media is "spent". Baker provides a number of service and disposal options to meet each site's specific needs.
