Project Profile: Isolux's Diversity Helps Water Authority Lower Arsenic Levels
A water authority, with 6 sites of differing sizes across the borough is tasked with lowering its arsenic level from 6-to-9 ppb to <5 ppb. The North central site, as an example, takes feed from 2 wells, combines them, then the pH is adjusted. Following this the arsenic is removed before going to a VOC stripper. Finally the water is chlorinated before leaving the site. This site demonstrates Isolux fitting into a system where several aspects of the water quality require treatment.
