The 1900 Series Restraint Family by EBAA Iron, Inc., sizes 4in โ 12in has been engineered to restrain AWWA C900 PVC pipe to the full rated pressure of the pipe as noted in the latest applicable revisions of the AWWA industry standards and as adopted by the Uni-Bell PVC Pipe Association. The EBAA 1900 series split serrated restraint ring device can be easily installed with the use ordinary wrenches or tools that would be readily available on a pipeline project. It is constructed of ASTM A536 ductile iron, and it is available in 4-inch to 12-inch cast iron O.D. nominal pipe sizes. It's unique design and construction utilizes appropriate engineering mechanics to its advantage in order to assure maximum gripping strength and proper restraint capabilities when hydrostatic pressures increase to the maximum working pressure rating of the pipe.
In addition to having superior restraint capabilities, the EBAA 1900 series split serrated restraint device also incorporates other standard EBAA IRON product features such as the Mega-Bond® coating system (which provides corrosion, impact and UV resistance) and "Traceability" (which provides proof of iron integrity and the ability to verify their quality assurance practices).
Fully compliant with the "buy American" requirement as noted in ยง1605 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (as with all other joint restraint products manufactured by EBAA IRON), the EBAA 1900 series split serrated restraint device is proudly manufactured in Eastland, TX โ U.S.A.
