New sc1000™ Software v3.0 Offers Easy Access To Information

Hach Company announces the launch of sc1000™ software v3.0 featuring MODBUS TCP/IP and GPRS. The Hach Model sc1000 Multi-parameter Controller is now available with state-of-the-art MODBUS TCP/ IP communications protocols for seamless integration into Corporate Internet and MES Systems. MODBUS TCP/IP adds to the list of digital communication protocols already supported by the sc1000. Using MODBUS TCP/IP, system data can now be transmitted over an Ethernet physical layer or streamed wirelessly using GPRS.
The built-in graphical user interface of the sc1000 controller's operating system provides remote access to the controller using Windows® IE or similar browser on any computer operating system (Windows, UNIX, Mac, Linux, etc.). The enhancements in sc1000's digital communications capability will enable our customers to more easily integrate the sc1000 controller into their network as well as save them money from reduced wiring and cabling costs.
