Kansas City, MO - Black & Veatch, a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company, announced recently its professionals are participating in 22 technical sessions, four workshops and nine poster presentations at ACE08, the American Water Works Association's Annual Conference and Exposition, June 8-12 in Atlanta, Ga. Four of the individuals leading technical sessions will also serve as session moderators.

In addition, Dan McCarthy, President and CEO of Black & Veatch's global water business, will address "Old Paradoxes and New Paradigms" at the Public Officials Breakfast and Caucus special event on June 10.

"New solutions won't come from old ways of thinking," said McCarthy. "Serving as a conference sponsor and exchanging ideas and experiences is an important way in which Black & Veatch joins utilities, universities and other organizations in pooling expertise and retooling the water industry to develop sustainable water supplies and treatment solutions for the future."
