September 13-14, 2010 Onsite Wastewater System Installer Training Course Part One. Soil treatment conventional and mound systems. Attendees will be able to participate at the primary location Benzie-Leelanau Health Department, 6051 Frankfort Highway, Suite 100, Benzonia MI 49616; AND by video link to The Health Department of Northwest Michigan in Charlevoix. 16 Continuing Septage Education Credit Hours have been approved by the State of Michigan. 16 Hours of Credit have been approved by the State of Wisconsin in the following categories: * Master Plumber-Restricted Service License * POWTS Maintainer Registration * Utility Contractor License Fee: $280 per participant (includes snacks and lunch both days.) Participants who complete this, together with following courses, will be prepared to take the NEHA Installer exams. This course is suitable for any experienced excavator/installer, who needs updated skills, as well as those who may be new to the profession or are new hires. It is particularly suited to health department staff, construction and building employees who are new to installing onsite systems or managing construction sites which will include an onsite wastewater system.
