Two day annual conference, this year's theme is “Reducing the Environmental Footprint of the Water Industry”. It is recognised that the provision of clean drinking water and safe sanitation carries a large environmental burden and in the UK, the carbon emissions from the industry are similar to that of the aviation industry.
