Transitioning To Turbo Blowers
10/16/2019
In 2019, Kaeser Compressors assumed control of the venerable line of PillAerator turbo blowers, strengthening its ability to serve the wastewater industry — or wherever else atmospheric process air is needed on a constant pressure level. Watch this video to understand what inspired the decision, as Manual Dias, Business Development Manager at Kaeser, covers the advantages that turbo blowers offer versus other types of blowers. Al Moreno, Kaeser's District Manager, then highlights the company's screw blower technology, followed by Global Product Manager Peter Werhahn, who provides the business case for investing in turbo blowers.

The Role Of Digitalization In Today's Treatment Plants
10/9/2019
The best systems are ones that are not just effective by design; importantly, they are employed to optimal effect. When it comes to treatment plant instrumentation and automation, it's essential that the volumes of data collected throughout the treatment process are easily understood and acted upon. In this video, Jack Roushey, Marketing Manager for the Flow Division of Siemens Process Instrumentation, talks about how Siemens addresses these challenges through their portfolio of process measurement and analytics systems. He discusses the advantages of digitalization, including digital twin technology, and how smart instruments can be leveraged to solve some of the industry's highest-level concerns, such as water quality and resiliency, while making it more simple than ever for operators.

SiC Strength: Silicon Carbide Membranes
10/22/2018
Silicon carbide, or SiC, membranes are made from one of the earth's hardest natural materials, making them extremely strong and resilient. They are also hydrophilic, lending to a high flux rate (4 to 6 times that of other membranes) and making them particularly suitable for stormwater/CSO applications.

Big Air: Aerzen Introduces Turbo Blower For Large Treatment Plants
10/18/2017
Aerzen USA has long preached — and excelled in delivering — "right-sized" blower solutions, offering energy efficiency by producing the proper amount of air for the application. Until recently, however, the company did not have an option for the largest of wastewater treatment plants. That has changed with the introduction of the Multicore series turbo blower, which is described in the following video by Tom McCurdy, National Sales Manager for Aerzen's Environmental Group.
