Easy to operate and cost effective, Whitewater Well's Technology Tackles Numerous Water Quality Challenges

Tel Aviv, Israel — Whitewater Well, part of the Whitewater Technology Group and a global leader in the area of advanced control and monitoring solutions for the water industry, introduces the first-of-its-kind portable automatic, realtime, inline standalone monitor for measuring sand and other particulate concentrations in water lines. Designed for continuous operation without the need for routine cleaning or maintenance, the device provides exceptionally reliable, real-time sand concentration data in the field.

Whitewater Well's products increase dependability of well operations, reduce well maintenance costs, and prevent well contamination. As part of the Whitewater Technology Group, Whitewater Well's main focus is the development of cutting-edge solutions to alleviate the global water crisis, helping to ensure the uninterrupted supply of clean, safe water. The company's two main products - the DripMaster and the SandMaster - are both unique in the market -. These solutions are sold to cities in the US and the Middle East. Among our customers are the cities of, Las Vegas, Tucson, and Santa Fe, El Paso.

Meeting the Critical Need for Sand Content Measurement in the Field
Whitewater Well will introduce its revolutionary new portable system for measuring sand concentrations in water at the Weftec 08 Exhibition. Automatically measuring sand content as low as 0.1 ppm, it delivers continuous real-time data and enables easy collection of samples for offsite analysis - providing a true picture of well conditions and ensuring that sand concentration does not exceed regulatory agency requirements. Meeting the industry's crucial need for reliable measurement of sand content in the field, the SWD-3 Mobile is the first automatic portable standalone monitor for measuring sand and other particulate concentrations. Requiring no manual calculations, the plug-and-play unit eliminates human error in calculating sand concentrations. Cost-effective, durable, and corrosion resistant, it provides a user-friendly interface, enables easy single-operator use, and conveniently attaches to a notebook computer for data downloading.

Whitewater Well's sophisticated solutions are examples of the Whitewater Technology Group's dedication to the ongoing development and delivery of new technologies to municipalities and water authorities - in the areas of water security, monitoring and early warning, controllers and drilling.

The DripMaster - A Full Solution for Vertical Turbine Pump Lubrication
The DripMaster is a vertical lineshaft oil lubrication control and monitoring device for vertical turbine pumps (VTPs). Developed a decade ago and installed at hundreds of wells in the US and around the world, the system is the only oil lubrication device designed specifically for VTPs - which pump water from depths of 600 to 2600 feet. The DripMaster significantly extends the life of lineshafts, prevents costly and time-consuming repairs, and decreases well contamination. Delivering a full solution for pump downtime caused by improper lubrication of bearings, the DripMaster automatically monitors and stabilizes a pre-set oil drip rate, reporting online via a SCADA-compatible mechanism. Ensuring a constant drip rate regardless of ambient temperature or hydrostatic oil pressure, the DripMaster reduces well contamination caused by excessive lubrication, decreases oil consumption, and reduces labor-intensive operations. Cost-effective, compact, easy to install, and maintenance-free, the DripMaster is housed in a rugged, sealed cast aluminum case, assuring reliable operation in even the most extreme weather conditions.

The SandMaster - An Automatic Solution for Measurement of Sand Concentration in Water
The SandMaster is a unique tool that automatically measures sand content in well water, separates particles, and generates alarms when sand concentration rises above acceptable levels. The first such device with online capabilities, the exceptionally reliable SandMaster uses complex algorithms to sample 250 gallons per hour, monitoring and calculating sand content on a scale of 0.1 PPM to 100 PPM. It separates sand particles ranging from 50 to over 300 microns within 4 seconds, and triggers alarms or shuts down pumps according to pre-set levels. Reporting back via a SCADA-compatible interface, the system provides a remote well performance monitoring tool, and conveniently attaches to a notebook computer, enabling data download.

About the Whitewater Technology Group
The Whitewater Technology Group is focused on the achievement of a comprehensive solution for one of mankind's most critical concerns - the uninterrupted supply of sufficient amounts of clean, safe water. Leveraging Israel's immense capabilities in both security and water technologies, the Group is creating a technological powerhouse through the ongoing identification, nurturing, investment, and acquisition of selected, cutting-edge Israeli companies. Whitewater Well, a member of the Group, develops control and monitoring solutions for the water industry, increasing the reliability of well operations, reducing well maintenance costs, and preventing well contamination. In addition to Whitewater Well, the Group - which will deliver a steady stream of advanced solutions to municipalities and water authorities in the US, Europe and other developed areas - includes Whitewater Security (security), Galcon Computerized Control Systems (controllers), and Checklight (monitoring). Whitewater will exhibit its innovative solutions at the Weftec exhibition in Chicago, Illinois, October 18-22, 2008.
