Veolia Water Technologies To Feature Its AQUAVISTA Platform Of Digital Services At The IFAT Trade Fair In Munich, Along With Key Offering In Wastewater And Sludge Treatment

IFAT is the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. This year, digital services will be at the center of Veolia Water Technologies’ booth, surrounded by the company’s key processes and services for wastewater and sludge treatment.

Veolia Water Technologies is a world leader in design, build, maintenance and modernization of water and wastewater treatment facilities and also provides a full range of standardized and customized products and services to municipal and industrial customers.

The company unveiled its AQUAVISTA platform of digital services a few months ago, based on 20 years of expertise in intelligent software for water and wastewater facilities and backed by its unparalleled knowledge of water treatment. This new cloud-based platform allows municipalities and industrials to manage their water treatment systems in a much smarter and more efficient way over a period of time, letting them focus on their core business.

Veolia Water Technologies is currently working on making all of its technologies and equipment Aquavista-enabled, which includes most of the water and wastewater treatment offer showcased at IFAT.

Jean-François Nogrette, CEO of Veolia Water Technologies, stated at the Global Water Summit: “The new digital water plant creates value for customers: it strengthens confidence in water quality and optimises the performance of installations. It creates more flexibility for the user. Secure information, available in real time on any terminal, renews the pact of trust with our customers”.

BlueKolding A/S, an environment, energy and climate company which covers the entire municipality of Kolding in Denmark, has been working with Veolia subsidiary Krüger A/S for over 10 years. BlueKolding CEO Per Holm said: “AQUAVISTA Plant has helped us to lower the costs of our operations and helped us to have a better carbon footprint as well. And now it’s cloud-based and that means that our data security is on a very high level and that’s very important to us.”

Together with digital services, Veolia Water Technologies will showcase its extensive offer for wastewater and sludge treatment. Market-leading water treatment technologies such as the Hydrotech  filters, Biothane biogas-producing anaerobic processes, Evaled evaporators for Zero Liquid Discharge and Actiflo high-rate ballasted clarifier will be demonstrated on the booth.

Veolia Water Technologies’ strong expertise in sludge treatment will also be highlighted, including demo units of its continuous thermal hydrolysis process, Exelys , and its low-temperature sludge drying process, Biocon.

Veolia subsidiary AnoxKaldnes will be celebrating its 1,000 MBBR references while sister company PMT , who specializes in compact biological wastewater treatment plants using biodiscs, will celebrate its 20 th anniversary.

Come by "booth 151/250 in Hall A3" to discuss with Veolia experts and learn more about our new digital platform and water treatment technologies and services!
