The ABS EffeX Revolution embodies continuous striving to design, develop and manufacture the most innovative and resource-conserving solutions on the market.

In 2009, this approach began with the introduction of the world’s first submersible sewage pumps with a premium-efficiency motor. The next step of the ABS EffeX Revolution involved breakthrough technology in 2010 with the launch of the world’s first submersible concept mixer with a permanent-magnet motor.

Now the third step in the revolution is complete with two further world firsts – the low speed submersible mixer ABS flow booster XSB and the ABS pump controller PC 441. The low speed mixer is the world’s biggest mixer for wastewater treatment that saves 25% energy! The PC 441 system for municipal pumping stations allows both control and monitoring of up to 4 pumps and additional equipment.

Reducing energy and carbon footprint
In response to the ever-increasing demands for saving energy and reducing carbon footprints, ABS is constantly increasing motor efficiency. In the ABS EffeX range of submersible sewage pumps XFP, this is achieved with built-in IE3 premium-efficiency motors in accordance with IEC60034-30. With the medium-speed ABS submersible mixer XRW, an IE3 permanentmagnetic motor gives users a total efficiency improvement of up to 35% compared with other existing medium-speed mixer designs.

The slow running submersible mixer ABS flow booster XSB cuts energy consumption by 25% compared with other slow running mixer models on the market. And our ABS pump controller PC 441 reduces energy consumption at network and terminal pumping stations.
