Submit Abstracts For 2018 WE&RF Research Conference On Advancing Reuse And Integrated Water
The Call for Abstracts is now open for the 2018 Water Environment & Reuse Foundation (WE&RF) Research Conference, which will be held May 7-8, 2018 in Atlanta, GA. The theme of the conference, which is being held in partnership with the Water Research Foundation, will be “Advancing Reuse & Integrated Water.” The event, a continuation of the 20-year tradition of the former WateReuse Research Foundation, will focus on the latest developments in potable and nonpotable reuse, as well as the challenges and opportunities of integrated water management.
The annual Research Conference is designed to help communities prepare for the future with a comprehensive program offering innovative approaches and creative solutions for building resilient and reliable water supplies and sustainable water resources.
The program will include two keynote sessions, plenary/panel discussions, multiple tracks on reuse and integrated water; plus poster presentations and technical tours. The organizers seek abstracts on the core topics of: integrated water management (such as stormwater, green infrastructure, and decentralized systems) and water reuse topics on nonpotable applications (such as industrial and agricultural reuse) and potable reuse topics (including groundwater augmentation, surface water augmentation, direct potable reuse, water quality and monitoring, treatment technologies, regulations, and public engagement).
WE&RF encourages water utility staff, academics, consultants, and other water professionals to submit abstracts that share their knowledge, experience, and research on reuse and integrated water topics. Abstracts must be submitted by October 23.
More information about the 2018 WE&RF Research Conference on Advancing Reuse & Integrated Water, and a full list of abstract topics, can be found at www.werf.org/2018researchconference.
