The Sanitary District of Decatur, IL operates a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) that was first constructed in 1917. The plant serves Decatur and surrounding communities. It has a dry weather capacity of 41 million gallons per day (MGD) and a wet weather capacity of 125 MGD.
