The American Concrete Pressure Pipe Association was founded in 1949, as a technical and educational trade association. The Association members represent the manufacturers of Concrete Pressure Pipe on the North American Continent.

The Association sponsors research projects and technical activities include active membership and participation in professional and technical societies.

The Association manages the Compliance Audit and Certification Program through which each member's Concrete Pressure Pipe plants are certified by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance to produce Concrete Pressure Pipe in accordance with applicable AWWA Standards.

Through its dedication to integrity, technical excellence and a continued program of research, the American Concrete Pressure Pipe Association is the authoritative voice of the Concrete Pressure Pipe industry.
