Orenco Brings Three Strong Product Lines To WEFTEC 2016

Orenco Systems is gearing up for WEFTEC 2016, where the company's booth (#1101) will showcase all three of its innovative, interconnected product lines: Wastewater, Composites, and Controls. A major highlight of the booth will be the chance to preview the new Orenco Sewer package.

Orenco Sewer is the only pressure sewer technology that provides primary wastewater treatment. That means both the size and cost of the treatment plant can be reduced. Solids are collected in an on-lot tank, while effluent is conveyed for treatment through small-diameter collection lines that require minimal excavation.

"Orenco Sewer has a lower life-cycle cost than both grinder and gravity sewer," says Sam Carter, Wastewater Sales and Marketing Director. "We're excited to offer a sewer solution that's not only more cost-effective, but also has such a relatively low construction impact."

The company's brand-new, fully integrated Orenco Sewer package is debuting at WEFTEC this year. Among the many advantages this package has to offer is a lightweight, highly dependable effluent pump that now features an affordable, 10-year limited warranty.

In addition, Wes Anderson, P.E., from Orenco's Municipal Systems team, will give a presentation about Christiansburg, Ohio, a municipality that had failing onsite systems. The village's new Orenco Sewer and AdvanTex Treatment System have provided an affordable, effective solution to the town's wastewater woes. Wes's 30-minute presentation (session 316) will be on Tuesday, Sept. 27th at 8:30 a.m. in room 244.

WEFTEC visitors can also look through a full-size cutaway of an AX-Max, a treatment unit using the AdvanTex technology that received WEF's 2011 "Innovative Technology Award." AdvanTex is a recirculating packed-bed filter with a highly efficient, engineered textile treatment media that hangs in sheets inside a watertight fiberglass tank. Since the introduction of AdvanTex in 2000, more than 30,000 treatment units have been installed all over the world.

Orenco Composites will be showing an insulated DuraFiber Building. These structures are molded as a single piece of fiberglass with no mechanical fasteners. Installation is quick and easy: just attach to a concrete pad and connect the power. DuraFiber is more cost-effective than concrete or steel, and - unlike wood - it doesn't rot. In fact, Orenco Composites offers numerous choices for add-on equipment, custom sizes, and various configurations on almost all of its innovative products.
