New "Green" Solution For Sewer Pump Stations Lowers Operating Costs, Improves System Performance

Anue Environmental, Inc. has released the new EP-1320 system that recycles a small fraction of discharged wastewater back into the pump station resulting in surface agitation for breakup of fat, oil, grease (FOG), and biofilm buildup. As well, the EP system increases dissolved oxygen levels up to 800% while solids are homogenized. These beneficial actions optimize in-well conditions promoting pre-treatment solids breakdown. The EP-1320 also provides automated well washdown. This substantially lowers the cost of vacuum clean-out and saves money in already strained maintenance budgets.
The EP system taps the discharge main. It recycles wastewater in the process requiring no external power or water source to enable operation. This recycling action creates a truly green solution for automating wet well cleaning and initiates a decentralized, upstream pre-treatment process. Users will receive fast returns-on-investment by eliminating costly, energy demanding vacuum truck costs, preserving money and time for more critical maintenance issues.
