As conventional wastewater treatment facilities begin to reach the end of their useful life, MBR technology is the obvious choice for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment. BIO-CEL creates a cleaner, higher quality effluent and are a fraction of the size of conventional wastewater treatment systems. Dennis Livingston, Director of MBR Systems for OVIVO says of the new open-side BIO-CEL module, “No other module can be serviced as easily as the BIO-CEL module in the event of system upsets, screen bypass or other similar types of events that do happen at MBR facilities.
