Microbial Cultures/Enzymes
| The following biologic products are available for wastewater treatment and bioremediation:
"BR": degrades oil, aliphatic and aromatic chemical pollutants for countering soil or aqueous contamination. "C": increases organic digestion during pretreatment and treatment of heavy influxes of cellulosic fibrous organic solids. "COMP": uses bacteria and fungi to convert raw material into a stable, odorless humus. "D/N": assists the nitrification/denitrification process with its blend of Nitrobacter spp, Nitrosomonas spp., and facultative naturally occurring bacteria. "DOC": deodorizes organic waste; its citrus fragrance helps rid obnoxious odors. "E-Z": improve settling, reduces BOD, SS, grease, odors and sludge--using concentrated bacterial culture/enzyme waste digesters--in, among other treatment units--primary clarifiers, Imhoff tanks, aeration tanks, trickling filters, RBCs, and secondary clarifiers( aerobic and anaerobic). "L": increases organic digestion in pretreatment and treatment of heavy influxes of animal fats, oils, and grease. "N": reduces foaming, bulking and rising sludge caused by toxic shock or Nocardia and other filamentous bacteria by reducing the filamentous bacteria and associated foam through natural selection. The nitrifying bacteria in this product enhance nitrification. "O": improves settling and reductions as does "E-Z" but has a wintergreen fragrance. "P": allows bacteria to absorb phosphates, utilizing oxygen as a nutrient, while retaining phosphorous, which is then removed. "The Pouch": reduces grease and odors in lift stations, injector pits, and sump pits. It comes in 5-lb pouches, unscented or with a wintergreen deodorizing fragrance "R": digests sewage wastes and solids keeping leach field lines open, improving percolation. The product comes in bulk or convenient dosage packets. |
