Israeli Water Leaders To Gather At WEFTEC

Other ASTERRA Informative Events including the first Leak Finding Dog will be showcased

The Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry invites US water stakeholders of all kinds to an event at the Kando booth #4113, on Monday, October 18, 2021, at 5:00 pm CST. ASTERRA and Kando, both leaders in the water industry, are joining together to strengthen ties and shore ideas at WEFTEC 2021. Their shared goal is to build connections and inspire positive changes in the water industry.

In addition to this event, ASTERRA is hosting a surprising leader in the leak detection industry, a dog named Vessel, at WEFTEC booth #4415 on October 19th at 2pm. Also, James Perry, VP of Business Development will be discussing Water Leak Detection using L-Band Radar, and how it relates to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6 on October 19th at 10:30 am CST.

ASTERRA’s Recover technology is used to locate leaks in water distribution systems by utilizing specialized RADAR signals from satellites. This radar allows ASTERRA to illuminate the areas of interest and collect the resulting reflected signals. These signals are analyzed and processed to identify specific indicators of wet soil saturated with potable water. The result is a map showing likely leak locations.
