The City of Raleigh Public Utility has taken a proactive stance on the environment by installing a Highland Tank Wash Water Recycle System to remove oils and solids for water reuse. The system is designed to collect dirty wash water from a vehicle wash pad, remove contaminants using Advanced Filtration System (AFS) technology and store the water for reuse. In past years the City has experienced some shortages of water and the use of the Wash Water Recycle System will drastically reduce water usage at the facility.
