Global pump manufacturer to feature dependable, energy-efficient systems on expo floor and interactive demonstration trailer outside show venue

Downers Grove, IL - The 2014 WATERCON conference and exposition provides the backdrop for Illinois-based pump manufacturer Grundfos North America North America to showcase its state-of-the-art solutions designed to optimize the performance of municipal water and wastewater systems. Taking place March 17 to 19 at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield, Ill., WATERCON is the Midwest’s largest water conference.

Grundfos will highlight its SL products, a complete line of submersible wastewater pumps capable of handling unscreened sewage, effluent, process water and large volumes of surface water in municipal applications. Thanks to the availability of the S-Tube impeller, the SL allows for the free passage of large solids, rags and fibers up to four inches in size.

The exterior parking lot of the Crowne Plaza will feature Grundfos’ Hydro MPC BoosterpaQ trailer. The BoosterpaQ is a highly efficient pressure-boosting system for municipal water transfer and applications with variable flow requirements. Ideal for a wide array of applications including highly efficient municipal water transfer based on proportional pressure and various filter and screen backwash applications at treatment plants. Hydro MPC systems are designed to meet customers’ specific demands for capacity and control. Visitors to the trailer will be able to interact with the Hydro MPC BoosterpaQ firsthand to learn more about Grundfos’ dependable, energy-efficient solutions for pumping stations and networks.
