Following a very successful showing at the 2014 Annual Conference and Exposition of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) in Boston during the week of June 8, 2014, EarthTec QZ was named as one of the Top 10 Water Technologies, as judged and selected by Water Online.

EarthTec QZ is now officially registered in the state of California and 24 other states for use to control zebra and quagga mussels in a cost-effective and environmentally friendly manner. EarthTec QZ is the first and only chemical control method currently approved by both the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use in open waters and by the National Science Foundation (NSF) for use in drinking water.
