Duffy To Lead HDR's Water Reuse Practice

Jennifer Duffy has been named HDR’s water reuse practice lead, based in the firm’s San Diego, California office.

In this role, Duffy will work collaboratively with different practice groups at HDR, especially reuse, desalination and membrane, to grow the reuse program. She will continue to participate in key utility management pursuits and partner with water quality and treatment leaders to advance HDR’s global water reuse capabilities.

Duffy will also continue serving as HDR’s Southern California utility planning lead, as she has done for the past five years. While in this role she has worked on multiple recycled water planning projects across the United States. She and her HDR team were recently selected to prepare the city of San Diego’s $1.5M Water Reuse Master Plan and Condition Assessment project.

She holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Tufts University. She is a past president of the San Diego Chapter of WateReuse and has been a member of the organization for more than 25 years.

“Jennifer has demonstrated a keen understanding of the reuse industry,” said Greg Stonehouse, the water client development director. “She speaks the reuse language and makes her home in San Diego, one of HDR’s locations with a very mature reuse market. She will help facilitate our positioning in this emerging service line.”
