DNA Pioneer Microbe Detectives To Expand Services

Microbe Detectives, a pioneer in applying DNA tech to increase water and wastewater treatment system performance through analysis of microbiomes, announces plans for expanded services in wastewater renewable resource recovery (R3). The Microbe Detectives brand will continue as the trusted name for DNA diagnostic services delivered to the water and wastewater industry. ThinkR3 will serve as the new brand for the company.

"Customers have been asking us for several years if we have any plans to offer a whole solution, that is, both the DNA discovery and the corresponding solution," said Tillotson. "Up until now, the answer has been no. We are now working toward offering more complete or “whole” solutions and feel a name change for the company makes sense."

ThinkR3 will work with partners to provide innovative R3 solutions to wastewater facilities that are easy to implement, financially attractive, and leverage unique insights from Microbe Detectives' DNA technologies.

"R3 flips the concept of wastewater treatment from an operational expense to a revenue producing asset; delivering better financial AND environmental performance," said Tillotson. It was the focus of our first leadership forum, The 2017 Microbiome Water Summit, and we have remained passionate about it ever since." click for video recordings of presentations
