AWWA Webcast Explores Science Behind Nanotechnology

Denver, CO – Water professionals will explore the exciting science of nanotechnology during an American Water Works Association (AWWA) webcast beginning at 1 p.m. EDT, July 23.

The webcast will cover the applications of nanotechnology within the water sector, and its implications on treatment, sustainability, public health and safety. Working at an atomic level, nanotechnology can improve membrane technology, adsorption processes and the development of compounds that selectively extract toxic substances.

Webcast presenters will include:
