Aqua-Aerobic Systems, Inc., a leader in the design and manufacture of water and wastewater treatment equipment and systems, announces its purchase of Mecana Umwelttechnik Ag of Reichenburg Switzerland. Since 1989, Mecana, the original inventor of cloth media filtration, has served the municipal, commercial and industrial sectors specializing in biological, compact sewage treatment systems and cloth media filtration technology. The company currently has systems installed throughout Switzerland, Germany, Korea and Spain.
