Air Products To Highlight Oxygen Supply For Ozone Generation And Wastewater Treatment At WEFTEC

Company's PRISM® Onsite Gas Generation Systems Enable Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority to Improve Energy Efficiency and Lower Costs

Lehigh Valley, PA /PRNewswire/ -- Air Products (NYSE: APD) will exhibit its broad portfolio of gases, equipment, and technology solutions for the water and wastewater treatment industry at the 85th Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) in New Orleans from September 29-October 3. The company's Halia® and PRISM® Solutions can help both municipal and industrial customers improve the quality of their water and wastewater streams for reuse or discharge, increase their treatment capacity, and reduce the cost and environmental footprint of their treatment processes.

"There are many municipalities currently dealing with, or soon will be faced with, degrading equipment," said Julio Padovani, sale of equipment business manager, Generated Gases‒Americas, for Air Products. "Air Products has the right knowledge and experience to retrofit existing wastewater treatment equipment. We also offer our highly efficient PRISM® Technology for onsite oxygen and nitrogen gas generation which, in certain scenarios, can be a more sustainable, cost-effective solution for both municipal and industrial customers to help keep their plants running at peak performance."

Air Products' PRISM® Oxygen VSA and Nitrogen PSA Systems are now successfully operating at Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority (CCMUA) in New Jersey. Used in their wastewater treatment process, these onsite gas generation systems are providing CCMUA with improved energy efficiency, lower maintenance, and more reliable gas supply.

"The PRISM Oxygen VSA System's modular design, low power consumption, turndown capabilities, and minimal time from start-up to full production are integral parts of our customers' success," said Padovani.

WEFTEC attendees are invited to stop by Booth #1628, Hall C to speak with a knowledgeable Air Products representative about the company's complete portfolio of offerings for water and wastewater treatment applications, including:

  • Reliable liquid oxygen supply with NSF 60 certification;
